Positive Living Award Celebration
The most inspiring day of the year! A room full of school administrators, teachers, family member, friends, city officials and supporters of Firelands Positive People -- all gathered to celebrate a remarkable group of students who have accomplished the unthinkable! These young individuals have not only survived some of the most horrific life situations, but they also teach everyone present, the true meaning of determination and how they made it here today!
They have weathered their storms; and emerged with strength and optimism. Their resolve in the face of adversity is nothing short of extraordinary.
Firelands Positive People’s mission is not only to recognize these students by celebrating their victories, but more importantly by awarding scholarships to support their pursuit of higher education. Each student carries with them unique dreams and aspirations, and our mission is to affirm their potential and stand beside them as they work toward their goals. We believe in their futures and are honored to be part of their journey.
